Savanna Burdick
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Murrieta, California, offering telehealth and in-person therapy services, with a deep passion for trauma-focused care and supporting individuals living with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more. As the daughter of a retired Navy Chief who served 24 years, I developed an early understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals and families of all backgrounds, and this personal connection continues to fuel my dedication to trauma-informed, client-centered work.
With over 12 years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of working across a wide range of settings, including inpatient and outpatient programs, community mental health clinics, family reunification services, court-ordered mental health care, behavior coaching, life coaching, and intensive therapy. These diverse experiences have shaped my adaptable and grounded therapeutic approach, allowing me to meet clients exactly where they are.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. I am professionally trained and certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and I regularly incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy into my work. I also integrate mindfulness practices and grounding techniques to help clients strengthen self-awareness, regulate emotions, and stay connected to the present moment.
I specialize in working with both children and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, PTSD, and acute stress disorder. I also understand that navigating day-to-day life can feel overwhelming—even without the presence of a mental health diagnosis. Daily stress, emotional fatigue, and life transitions can take a toll, and these experiences deserve validation, support, and compassionate care.
Above all, I am passionate about supporting clients in their most vulnerable moments and empowering them to take the lead in their healing. I view my role as a guide—someone who provides direction, tools, and insight while ensuring that you remain in control of the process. I will not do the work for you, but I will walk with you, every step of the way. I will help you stay focused, uncover your strengths, navigate challenges, and support you as you build the skills and confidence needed to move forward in your life, while still honoring your autonomy and inner wisdom.
My work is grounded in the belief that every person deserves a safe, supportive space where their voice is heard and honored. As a trauma-informed, client-centered therapist, my goal is to offer compassion, clarity, and collaboration as we navigate your path toward resilience and well-being together.
